Since its inception in 2005 Nuutbegin Nature Reserve (meaning a new beginning) has focused on the breeding of top genetic stock of the rarer species. Now after five years of successful breeding we are proud to offer selective hunts from 2011.
Nuutbegin Nature reserve is situated in one of the most remote regions of South Africa and boasts almost 60,000 acres of pristine country, affording nature lovers a hunting experience comparable to the real unspoiled Africa. A piece of paradise where you can track and hunt your quarry without bumping into fences for days on end. With excellent trophies available for hunting, and in keeping with the culture and policies of a Reserve, only a few select hunters with an appreciation of nature and love for a true fair chase hunt will be invited every year.
The usual Kalahari plains game is to be found in profusion on Nuutbegin while Buffalo, Rhino, Sable, Roan, Leopard, Cheetah, Brown hyena and all the smaller carnivores occur in healthy numbers. Trophies on offer include kudu of 55" and more, Sable of 40" and more, Roan of 28" and more and excellent Buffalo. With free roaming lion to be intruduced in the near future, we can also offer you magnificent lion hunting.
